Aside from pristine beaches and mountain resorts, Davao City is one of the most progressive cities that boast of being the center of economic activities in the southern part of the Philippines. The emerging business and investment hub in Mindanao is also blessed with good governance that gains discipline among its people. With that, Megaworld has paved the way to introduce its first development in Southern Philippines with the rise of Davao Park District.
Located in an 11-hectare property along the S.P. Dakudao Loop which used to be the Lanang Golf and Country Club, Davao Park District is envisioned to be Davao City’s central business district (CBD) and a major center for information technology and business process outsourcing (IT-BPO) in Mindanao. The company is allocating P15-billion in the next five to seven years to build and develop the township. First to rise in the township are office towers that will be suited for business process outsourcing (BPO) companies and other corporate offices. Also in Davao Park District, are the themed residential condominiums that will be built by Suntrust, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Megaworld. The township will also have a lifestyle mall, commercial and retail strips, open parks, a lagoon, and a school.
