Offering an array of first-in-Iloilo amenities, this new hotel further expands Megaworld’s hospitality portfolio in Iloilo to almost 900 room keys

Property giant Megaworld, through its hospitality arm Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, is opening Belmont Hotel Iloilo, its third hotel development within the 72-hectare Iloilo Business Park in Iloilo City.

Located along Festive Walk Parade just beside Saint Dominique and a short walk away from the iconic Iloilo Convention Center and Festive Walk Iloilo, the 12-story Belmont Hotel Iloilo features 405 elegantly curated rooms in varying layouts, ranging from One-Bedroom Suite (48 square meters), Premiere Room (30 square meters), Twin Room (24 square meters), and Queen Room (24 square meters).

The hotel also offers Specially-Abled Rooms (30 square meters) for guests with special mobility needs, as well as themed Kids Rooms (48 square meters) connected to another room—a first-of-its-kind concept in Iloilo—offering a playful and more immersive experience for families traveling with children.

A refreshing stay in Iloilo Business Park
Every suite within Belmont Hotel Iloilo offers a unique cultural experience, showcasing curated artworks by local artists that highlight iconic landmarks in Iloilo infused with the nostalgic charm of the 1950s to further reinforce Iloilo Business Park’s identity as Iloilo City’s Center of Arts and Culture.

“We are excited to offer a truly refreshing experience for everyone at Belmont Hotel Iloilo, and this chapter marks an important milestone in our commitment to help boost tourism in the Visayas. Iloilo continues to be a premier destination for local and international travelers with Iloilo Business Park leading the way. We are proud to continue expanding our hospitality footprint in this township with a new and premier development for guests who want to experience the best of Iloilo’s thriving tourism and business scene,” says Cleofe Albiso, managing director, Megaworld Hotels & Resorts.

To be managed and operated by Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, Belmont Hotel Iloilo brings Megaworld’s total hospitality portfolio to 880 room keys within Iloilo Business Park—commanding nearly 25% of the entire city's hotel room inventory. Aside from Belmont Hotel Iloilo, Megaworld also operates two other world-class hotels in Iloilo Business Park in Richmonde Hotel Iloilo (149 rooms) and Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo (326 rooms).

A new, standout addition to IBP’s growing skyline
The overall design and architecture of Belmont Hotel Iloilo introduces a standout aesthetic within Iloilo Business Park as it draws inspiration from the iconic spirit of the Miami Art Deco district.

Stepping inside the hotel, guests will be welcomed to a spacious, light-filled lobby characterized by a colorful and festive theme, blending the rich culture of Iloilo with the Mid-Century modern style aesthetics, as seen in the mix of modern finishes infused with vintage and retro elements.

Aside from the themed Kids Rooms, another first-in-Iloilo concept integrated into Belmont Hotel Iloilo is the mini-art gallery at the second-floor amenity area, which has been designed to host a rotating showcase of masterpieces from renowned local artists and personalities. Surrounding the gallery is a high-ceiling grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 310 persons in a theater setup or about 300 in a banquet setup. The ballroom can be divided into four (4) other smaller function halls for smaller, more intimate events and celebrations. There are also meeting rooms with breakout areas that can accommodate a variety of business functions.

At the third-floor amenity area, guests will enjoy the swimming pool and kiddie pool, complemented by a pool lounge and male and female changing rooms that each feature integrated saunas. Wellness enthusiasts will find a complete sanctuary in the hotel’s dedicated facilities, including a fitness center and private spa rooms to balance rigorous activity with deep, restorative healing.

Guests can also choose from three (3) premier F&B outlets in the hotel, led by Belmont Café. This all-day dining destination features a private dining space and specializes in modern Ilonggo diner specialties in global formats while offering a refined dining setting for up to 120 guests. The hotel also features its own Zabana Bar at the lobby lounge, Megaworld’s signature hotel bar concept, as well as the Float Bar and Grill at the pool lounge on the third floor.

In Iloilo Business Park, Belmont Hotel Iloilo is surrounded by an exciting variety of must-visit attractions inside Iloilo Business Park. These include three museums, namely the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art (ILOMOCA)–the first museum in Visayas and Mindanao dedicated to contemporary art–Brandy Museum, and Science XPdition located at Festive Walk Iloilo.

The township is also home to several themed residential condominium developments, modern office towers—including LEED Gold-certified properties Enterprise One and Two—vibrant retail, dining, and entertainment hubs in Festive Walk Mall and Festive Walk Parade, as well as Iloilo City’s first-ever Wolfgang’s Steakhouse.

Currently, Megaworld Hotels & Resorts has 16 operational hotel properties with around 7,500 hotel rooms in some of the country’s key tourism destinations in Metro Manila, Tagaytay, Cebu, and Boracay. These include properties under the Richmond Hotel brand (Richmonde Hotel Ortigas, Eastwood Richmonde Hotel and Richmonde Hotel Iloilo), Belmont Hotel brand (Belmont Manila, Belmont Boracay, and Belmont Iloilo), Savoy Hotel brand (Savoy Manila, Savoy Mactan, Savoy Boracay), Hotel Lucky Chinatown, Twin Lakes Hotel, Kingsford Hotel Manila, Grand Westside Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo managed by Marriott, and Accor-branded Mercure Mactan Cebu.
