Property giant Megaworld kicks off 2026 on a high note after being named one of the ‘Best Companies in Asia-Pacific’ by TIME Magazine for two consecutive years.

 

The annual ranking, released by TIME in partnership with global data and business intelligence firm Statista, placed the Kevin Tan-led company among the region’s top 500 companies, based on key criteria including employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sustainability.

 

Megaworld jumped to #309 in the latest list, up from its previous position of #374, while having the 26th highest employee satisfaction rating among companies in the Asia-Pacific region. This recognition underscores the strong gains Megaworld has achieved across multiple performance indicators. The company was cited for its commitment to nation-building, innovation, and for being one of the region’s leading employers.

The TIME recognition adds to a series of workplace and corporate accolades earned by Megaworld over the past year.

 

Before 2025 ended, the company was named as the only Philippine real estate firm included in the inaugural Fortune Asia 100 Best Companies to Work For in Southeast Asia, becoming one of just six organizations from the Philippines to make the list.

 

This was followed by its latest Great Place to Work Certification, where Megaworld posted a 98% employee approval rating, the highest among major real estate developers in the Philippines.

 

In the last quarter of 2025, Megaworld also climbed to 42nd place in the Philippines’ Best Employers 2026 ranking by Statista, up from 240th place among 300 companies the previous year and ranking first among real estate companies nationwide.

 

Megaworld’s parent company, Alliance Global Group, Inc. (AGI), was also recognized in the annual list, improving its ranking from #245 last year to #227 this year.
