Property giant Megaworld is investing P15-billion to build a new integrated lifestyle community in the City of Manila.

Located just beside the historic Chinatown on a property within the San Lazaro Tourism and Business Park, the three-hectare Winford Resort will feature a mix of residential condominiums, hotels, and commercial developments with a casino complex. 

The development will be inspired by ‘Old Manila’ with structural designs reminiscent of the pre-war era. The buildings will be characterized by rich aesthetics, with intricate details of French Renaissance, Neo-Classical, and Art Deco architecture. 

“This commitment to revive the old beauty of Manila will be apparent in the designs of the commercial developments of this community. The beautiful architecture of the pre-war years will be seen in the Promenade, which is envisioned to become a major tourism destination in this side of Manila,” says Wilson Sy, first vice president and head of sales and marketing, Megaworld Manila.

A major feature of this integrated lifestyle community, the Promenade will have walkways made of cobblestones, reminiscent of the pavements used during the Hispanic era. 

Winford Resort, via Felix Huertas Road in Sta. Cruz District, is surrounded by major educational institutions such as the University of Sto. Tomas (UST), Far Eastern University (FEU), San Beda University (SBU), University of the East (UE), Centro Escolar University (CEU), and other colleges and universities in the popular University Belt. 

“Our new development is in a strategic location within the City of Manila. It is not only close to schools, but also to hospitals and public transport, such as the LRT,” adds Sy.

Megaworld is launching a new residential condominium tower in this township, the 17-storey One Crown Suites.

Divided into North Wing and the West Wing, One Crown Suites offers 389 units ranging from Studio with Balcony (up to 30.5 square meters), One-Bedroom with Balcony (up to 45.5 square meters), and Two-Bedroom with Balcony (up to 60.5 square meters).
