Empire East Land Holdings, Inc. was established on July 15, 1994 to cater to the growing market for residential projects among middle and lower income groups. EELHI is engaged in the development and marketing of house-and-lot packages and, to a limited extent, commercial and office space ad mixed-use complexes. EELHI also sells land and leases out commercial and industrial properties. Its primary thrust, however, remains to be the development of mass community housing, town houses, row houses, residential subdivisions, and other massive horizontal land development, alone or in joint venture with partners.
Megaworld-Daewoo Corporation was incorporated on August 26, 1996 as a joint venture company owned by the Company and Daewoo Corporation of South Korea for the development of Olympic Heights, a three-tower condominium project in Eastwood City, Quezon City.
Megaworld Globus Asia, Inc. was incorporated on March 17, 1995 as a joint venture company owned by the Company and Globus Asia Realty Holdings, Inc. to develop The Salcedo Park, a twin tower residential condominium project located along Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City.
Mactan Oceanview Properties & Holdings, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company which was incorporated on August 16, 1996 and which will engage in real property development in Cebu.
Megaworld Land, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company and was incorporated on May 26, 1994 as Metro Pacific Land Partners Corporation. Its corporate name was subsequently changed on March 25, 1995 after it was acquired by the Company from Metro Pacific Land Holdings, Inc. Megaworld Land, Inc. is a holding company which wholly owns Prestige Hotels and Resorts, Inc. It also markets the CyberPark to prospective locators and is charged with the leasing and selling of office and commercial spaces in the CyberPark.
Prestige Hotel & Resort, Inc. was incorporated on February 16, 1999 and is authorized to engage in the hotel and leisure business. It presently operates the Richmonde Hotel, a five-star hotel in Ortigas Center which offers state-of-the-art business facilities for the modern businessman and corporate clients.
Fairmont Holdings, Inc., which was incorporated on January 18, 1956 under the name of Ramie Textiles, Inc., is a publicly listed company which has ventures into low-cost and socialized housing development with its acquisition of EEPI.
Eastwood Cyber One Corporation, which was incorporated on October 21, 1999 under the name Prestige Homes, Inc., is undertaking the development of the Cyber One office condominium project inside the Eastwood Cyberpark, Eastwood City, Bagumbayan, Quezon City.
